Rush Township is a civil township of Shiawassee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,409 at the 2000 census.

* Five Points North is an unincorporated community in this township and New Haven Township on North M-52 at Riley Road and Seymour Road.〔(SHIAWASSEE County Map. ) J. Shively. State of Michigan Department of Information Technology Technology Center for Genographic Information. September 2007.〕
* Henderson, formerly Hendersonville, is an unincorporated community located along Henderson Road between North Bingham and Chipman roads.〔 A post office with the name of Hazel Green was opened there on May 14, 1868.〔〔(【引用サイトリンク】title= Hendersonville, Michigan ) 〕 The community was named for John Henderson, who kept a store there.
* Wolf Crossing is an unincorporated community in this township and Owosso Township on Cronk and Ruess roads, just south of the Great Lakes Central Railroad crossing on Ruess Road.〔
